If You Don't Know How Powerful Social Media Is You Aren't Doing It Right

and knowing someone who can optimize you online is half the battle

In the world that exists at this moment in time most information that is gathered and learned by people is online whether it is true or not. The networks that maintain a profound lead over all other sources are the top social networking platforms: FaceBook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram & Pinterest. Websites although extremely important for every business are less visited and followed than social networks where the majority of the public spends oodles of time. Social Networks know your name, age, birth date, likes, dislikes, conversations, associations, ALL internet traffic and so much more. All of us have played into their plans to know exactly what to market to us, when to market it to us and the probability calculation of us clicking on what they want us to click on. Invasive right? A digital invasion of privacy in my opinion but we can use this information to promote good causes, our products and services to audiences most likely to need or want them. There is nothing you can do about it but cut your network cord and stay off the internet and in today’s world that is practically impossible and we are here to help.

We have affordable solutions to give you the best bang for your buck. Your market and costs will never be the same as someone else even in the exact same industry because what you do is different in some way than what others do. Your customers review your products or service differently because for the most part, people buy you and get the product as a consolation prize. If you are wondering why your neighbor who does what you do is getting lots of business and you are busting your behind to make ends meat, maybe they are utilizing the existing networks online to promote and enhance their image.

Here are a few frequently asked questions:

What should my budget be for Social Networking?

Social Networking should be at a minimum half of what you spend online per month for advertising. If you are not advertising on Social Networks you are missing out on a huge demographic/audience who likes what you do.

Example: If you do a minimum Facebook campaign and it takes two hours total to setup and monitor it you should budget around $300 for the cost of the campaign ($100) plus time to manage it properly. This would be a monthly expense. The more you put towards the cost of the campaign the more you will get out of it. If you go minimal expect a minimal result.

What should my entire marketing budget be?

This is a difficult question to answer as every industry, area and competition is different. On average this is what we have found works for our clients. Example: If you make $1000 per month 20% should go into next months budget for marketing and you do some sort of print or paper marketing, and half the 20% should be in online marketing. That isn’t a lot for $100 but you will see some results.

If you have a new product, new website and new business you want to dramatically increase your marketing budget to get the word out! Too many think that because they built a website and have their social networks in place that everyone will find them and automatically be liked and shared because they are there. Don’t get caught in this myth, it never happens. Followers are built by hard work and by those who have the experience to do it.

Think of your marketing budget as an investment of what you want to earn in the future not as an expense that is dispensable or optional. “Well I have an extra $100 this month I think I’ll do some Google ads” NO! You cannot think like this. Marketing is more important than your phone bill, your rent or anything else, if you don’t have the business you can’t pay for those things anyways. The more you put towards marketing, specifically online marketing, the greater results you will see and these results are very measurable but you have to do it in the right areas that work for your industry and area.

Keep in mind, your website is part of your marketing but not part of your marketing budget. You need someone who maintains it, is a partner towards your success and will always be there when you need them. Your website IS YOU to people that have never met you. Your website should reflect what you want people to think of you and IT is more important than most realize. Just putting up something instead of nothing hurts you more than it helps.

Can I just try it for a month to see what happens?

SURE! But you get what you put in and the length of time you market the greater success you will have. There is no alternative or shortcut to consistent marketing efforts with ONE exception. If you have a half a million dollars for a national ad campaign then you will have a big impact on your business and the awareness of your brand and could even make your business the hottest thing this month but it could also destroy you just as fast.

We prescribe to a dollar based cost average approach as for the most part it is affordable to all businesses and you can increase your budget as business increases which only makes sense. One or two months is never enough time to see if something is going to work, it takes 3-6 months to start to get a good feel for what works for you. Peoples likes, trends, needs, desires and markets change by the minute and it takes time to hone in what works for you and once something works you keep it going and the momentum it generates can only be positive for your growth. We want you to be successful, that is our ultimate and only focus.

Can I hire you to train me how to mange my own campaigns? I like to learn about this stuff and dabble in it when I can.

I’ll answer this question with a question. In your business do you hire people so you can do their job for them but still pay them? We are here to help you by not worrying about what we do and helping you focus on what you do. We have no issue with showing you how we are so successful but unless you have an extra 20 years to do what we do it would just be a waste of time for the both of us. We are confident in our abilities to drive traffic to your product and you should be focused on fulfilling all the business we send your way. After all, isn’t that what you are in business for in the first place? Our goals are one in the same to help make your business successful. We are a team! Let us become part of yours.

Why should I have anything to do with Pinterest or Instagram?

Like all Social Networks being part of them no matter what you do puts yourself and company in front of prospective clients that you wouldn’t have access to by any other means.

Instagram is all mobile phone based and can be wildly successful for any industry with the tools and methods we have developed. For example one of our clients, a barbecue restaurant in American Fork Pig City BBQ, receives on average 100 followers on Instagram per day! If you break it down that is about 8 per hour 24 hours per day which means that 8 people per hour are seeing your page and following you. To do this we reached out to 80 people who saw your brand to get the 8 follows. All sales is a numbers game and we help that to be in your favor. Get Started Now

Pinterest is becoming a leader in Do-It-Yourself projects, personal promotions and is all image or picture based.
